| Meet The Coaching CrewPaul Fritz
Coach Paul is an accomplished kayaker who has competed in over 125 triathlon events and is an ASCA Level 3 coach. He is an innovative and supportive instructor and is not afraid to tell you how it is. He’s been swimming and coaching for... a long time. He has coached Boston Marathon qualifiers, Ironman athletes, beginners looking for their first fix & everyone in between.
Kara Robertson
Coach Kara does the dirty work for Swim Las Vegas and regularly competes in endurance swims. Kara is an ASCA Level 2 & U.S. Masters Level 1 coach who loves to instruct beginners. She's a distance swimmer who swam 10.85 miles from the base of the Hoover Dam in 53º water, swam 10k from the Golden Gate Bridge to the San Francisco Bay Bridge, and has competed in numerous triathlons and open water swims across the country, all without a wetsuit.
Kara is also the Race Director for Slam The Dam Open Water Swim at Lake Mead. This annual event draws world class participants from across the country & the globe.
